David Trevino was born three months premature, resulting in  total blindness.

The oldest child in a military family, David attended three different specialized schools, graduating from the ALABAMA school for the blind in 1972. While there, he learned to play several musical instruments, and wrestled for ASB competing against students with 20/20 vision, becoming a state champion in 1972.

He studied broadcasting at Gadsden State Junior college and earned a BS degree in communication at Tennessee State university.

David has worked as a radio announcer, voice actor, audio production technician, college faculty assistant, musician, and advertising copy writer.

His determination to live to the fullest in spite of his disability has led to an exciting, challenging life. David lives with his wife Debra in Newark, Delaware.  He has two sons and one daughter by a previous marriage.  He is a proud grandfather and great grandfather. 

Trevco Productions, LLC is the specialty production company David started to market his original stories and music.

THE MESSAGE THAT WASN’T THERE ANNOTATION

Jack Rondell, a radio announcer and audio production technician who happens to be blind is called in to help the police examine braille documents at a murder scene. As the investigation unfolds, he discovers a dying message, and the sordid sideline of the murdered man. A secret code, an ambitious newsman and a killer still at large put Jack in danger of being the next victim.

THE WRONG TRUMPET ANNOTATION

When Jack Rondell agrees to be a substitute trumpet player for a musician friend from his college days, he unwittingly steps into a deadly game of hide and seek.

Somebody has stolen something very small but very valuable from local crime boss Tom Rankin. Rankin will kill anybody who stands in the way of his getting it back. Jack isn't sure what, or where it is. He only knows that if he doesn't quickly find what Rankin wants, he is a dead man!
